Expectations and Responsibilities:

As a customer of Mr. Sushi, you can expect our Manager to:

  • Manage Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including reservations, seating, food preparation, service, and customer interactions, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage Quality Control: Set quality control standards and ensure that food quality, presentation, and service meet or exceed the restaurant’s high standards of excellence.
  • Provide Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of restaurant staff, including servers, chefs, kitchen staff, and support personnel, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries and concerns, and consistently strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage Staff Training: Train and develop staff members, providing ongoing coaching and guidance to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Manage Staff Scheduling: Manage in creating staff schedules, managing breaks, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Manage Budget and Inventory: Work closely with other leaders and manage budgets, control expenses, and monitor inventory levels, making informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Support Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain customers and enhance the restaurant’s visibility in the community.
  • Solve Problems: Address day-to-day challenges and emergencies effectively, making decisions that prioritize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Safety: Follow strict adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, including food safety regulations and safe handling of kitchen equipment.
